Top material should be matched to expected daily ink-cycle intensity, length and width to expected occupant count, and frame style to the room's overall program. These tables are common in scrum rooms, design studios, and any collaboration space where writing during a meeting is a regular part of the workflow.

Porcelain steel represents the highest-tier specification, rated for 50-year ghost-free service. Ceramic steel occupies the mid tier at a 25-year rating. Melamine markerboard represents the value tier, rated for 10 to 20 years of ghost-free service. Top material should be matched to how frequently the surface will see daily writing and erasing, since lower tiers under heavy use tend to ghost sooner than their nominal rating might suggest. The product page lists the rated tier for each SKU. A room booked for daily scrum or design sessions is a better fit for porcelain than for the value-tier melamine option.

Length runs 36 to 96 inches and width runs 30 to 48 inches, sized against expected occupant count at roughly 24 to 30 linear inches of edge per occupant. Height runs 29 to 30 inches for seated collaboration or 42 inches for standing collaboration. Room footprint should be measured against the intended table dimension early in the planning process, since a table sized for the wrong occupant count either crowds the room or leaves seats effectively unusable at the ends.

A metal T-leg frame provides the lightest visual silhouette and suits modern collaboration rooms. Panel-end frames give the most enclosed look. An X-base frame centralizes the footprint, avoiding a leg in any corner. A trestle frame suits a more traditional aesthetic. Frame style should follow the room's overall design program rather than being selected independently, since a mismatched frame style stands out visually even when the top material and size are correct. The integrated marker tray keeps dry-erase supplies within reach during active sessions. Aluminum trim also holds up better than PVC banding under repeated cart or chair contact along the table perimeter.

A flip-top mobile whiteboard table suits training rooms and reconfigurable spaces. The top tilts to vertical and the table nests against a wall for compact storage between uses. A minimum 27-inch knee clearance under the table top is required, with 30 by 48 inches of clear floor space at one or more occupant positions for wheelchair use. The standing-height variant at 42 inches serves standing wheelchair users, while the seated 29-inch variant serves seated ADA-compliant programs. Whichever height variant is chosen, at least one position in the room should meet the full knee clearance and clear floor space requirement to support an accessible seat at the collaboration table.
