Construction centers on 7/8-inch thick worksurfaces with 3/4-inch thick end panels and modesty panels, all finished in thermally fused melamine for a hardwearing, scratch-resistant surface made for daily business use. Exposed edges carry 3mm PVC edge banding that matches the laminate finish and helps protect against everyday impact. Drawer fronts use 5/8-inch thick thermally fused melamine, and the drawer boxes are built from 1/2-inch black vinyl board with 1/8-inch bottom panels for a clean interior. Reinforced metal brackets add structural integrity, while metal cam locks and connecting pins support durability over time. Integrated wire management grommets are built into the desk shell to route cables through the worksurface and keep the area organized. Adjustable leveling glides provide up to 1/2 inch of height compensation on uneven floors. The file drawers are suspension-file ready and designed exclusively for hanging files, with filing bars included. Full-extension ball bearing slides provide complete front-to-back access to every hanging file. Soft-close drawer suspension is standard on all drawers for quiet, controlled closing throughout the workday. A standard core-removable lock cylinder allows for master keying or lock replacement without replacing the full lock unit. Each pedestal includes two full-depth file drawers, giving the desk a total of four file drawers for hanging file storage.
