In legal and financial offices, this L-desk supports long document sessions, dual-monitor work, and the storage demands that come with a fixed workstation. The 71 inches wide by 78 inches deep footprint gives one side room for active tasking and the other side space for reference material or visitor paperwork. At 29.5 inches tall, it fits standard seated office use without crowding the chair zone. Double 2 drawer pedestals keep supplies and files close at hand on both sides of the shell. Construction centers on 7/8 inch thick worksurfaces with 3/4 inch thick end panels and modesty panels, all finished in thermally fused melamine. All exposed edges carry 3mm PVC edge banding that matches the laminate finish and adds protection against bumps and impact on the worksurfaces, drawer fronts, and boxes. Drawer fronts are made from 5/8 inch thick thermally fused melamine, and the drawer boxes use 1/2 inch thick black vinyl board with a matching 1/8 inch bottom panel for a clean interior. Reinforced metal brackets are integrated into the desk shell for added structural support under sustained workloads. Metal cam locks and connecting pins support durable field construction. Integrated wire management grommets are built into the desk shell to route cables and keep your workspace organized. Adjustable leveling glides provide up to 1/2 inch of height compensation on uneven floors, helping the workstation sit steady in place. The pedestal drawers use full-extension ball bearing slides for complete access, and soft-close drawer suspension is standard for quiet, controlled closing throughout the workday. A core-removable lock cylinder secures the pedestals and allows for master keying or lock replacement.
Each file, file pedestal has two full-depth file drawers, giving the desk four file drawers total across the double pedestal configuration. The file drawers are suspension-file ready and designed for hanging files, with file bars included for front-to-back letter and side-to-side legal filing.
