The 71 inches wide by 66 inches deep footprint creates room for spreading out documents while keeping a seated workstation layout within standard commercial proportions at 29.5 inches tall. Two file pedestals support the desk from below, giving you storage directly at hand without taking away legroom or surface area. Construction centers on 7/8-inch thick worksurfaces with 3/4-inch thick end panels and modesty panels, all finished in thermally fused melamine for a hardwearing, low-maintenance surface. All exposed edges are protected with 3 millimeter PVC edge banding that matches the laminate finish and helps guard against everyday bumps and impact. Drawer fronts use 5/8-inch thick thermally fused melamine, while the drawer boxes are built from 1/2-inch black vinyl board with 1/8-inch bottoms for a clean interior. Reinforced metal brackets add structural support, and metal cam locks with connecting pins provide durable field assembly. File drawers use full-extension ball bearing slides for complete front-to-back access, and soft-close suspension is standard on all drawers for controlled closing. The integrated wire management grommets help route cables through the desktop, and adjustable leveling glides provide up to 1/2 inch of height compensation on uneven floors. A pencil tray is included with box drawer configurations for desktop supplies.
Each file pedestal is suspension-file ready and set up for hanging files rather than bottom-load storage, with filing bars included for letter and legal filing. A standard core-removable lock cylinder secures the pedestal and allows for master keying or lock replacement without changing the entire unit. The desk is offered in ten colors so it can coordinate across workstations, reception areas, conference rooms, and other casegoods in the line.
