Drawer fronts are 5/8-inch thick thermally fused melamine, and the drawer boxes use 1/2-inch black vinyl board with an 1/8-inch bottom panel. Reinforced metal brackets strengthen the desk shell, while metal cam locks and connecting pins support durability. Integrated wire management grommets are built into the desk shell to route cables cleanly. Adjustable leveling glides add up to 1/2 inch of height compensation on uneven floors. The file drawers are suspension-file ready and designed for hanging files only, with full-extension ball bearing slides for complete front-to-back access. Soft-close drawer suspension keeps closing controlled during the workday, and the drawers accept front-to-back letter or side-to-side legal hanging files, with filing bars included.
