The standard 42 to 48-inch fixed lectern does not meet this range on its own and should not be substituted where accessibility is required. The venue stage or platform also needs an accessible ramp leading to the lectern position, since an elevated platform without a ramp defeats the purpose of installing a height-adjustable unit.
