This Desk is Reversible
After approvals pile onto the same work area, a desk flanked by file and box drawer pedestals restores order. A U shaped double pedestal desk places your daily work around two storage pedestals: one with two box drawers and one file drawer, and one with two file drawers. That arrangement keeps the documents you reach for within the workstation while separating general supplies from files that need a different storage location. File drawers accommodate letter or legal size hanging files, giving you a way to organize those two common filing formats without sending them to another room. Because the drawers lock, your records can remain at the desk when the office is unattended.
Overall dimensions are 30-inch high by 72-inch wide by 102-inch deep. The desk has a thermally fused laminate finish, with high-impact 3-millimeter PVC edges on all tops, end panels, and drawer fronts. Those edges help protect the edge surfaces from scratches, chips, and dents. A floor-to-desktop recessed modesty panel defines the rear of the workstation, while leveling glides let you set the desk on the floor. The included file/file pedestal and box/box/file pedestal both use full suspension drawer slides. File drawers accommodate either letter or legal size hanging files, and the drawers lock for security. The two pedestal configurations give you four file drawers in total, along with two box drawers for smaller office materials.
Several laminate finishes are available, so you can coordinate the desk with the finish plan already established in your office. Use the two box drawers for supplies, forms, or documents that need frequent access, and reserve the file drawers for letter or legal size hanging files. The U shaped layout gives you room to divide active work from reference material while keeping both pedestal storage groups at the workstation.
